SIZE 14 to 16

MATERIALS:
1 Pr. Champion Standard Knitting Needles #10
1 Bone Crochet Hook #6
3-4 oz. pull skeins. Jack Frost Wintuk Knitting Worsted Type

Scale — 4 sts. to 1 inch.

BACK:

Cast on 79 sts. work in pattern as follows:

(Knit 1 row, Purl 1 row) 3 times, then work eyelet row, right side, K1 * yarn over, K2 tog. repeat to end of row, purl 1 row, knit 1 row, purl 1 row, knit 1 row, purl 1 row, knit 1 row, purl 1 row, repeat last 8 rows for pattern. Work to underarm 16 inches. Bind off 5 sts. each side, then K 2 tog. each side every other row 3 times. Work even until armhole measures 8 inches. Bind off 7 sts. at the beginning of each row 3 times each side. Bind off.

RIGHT FRONT:

Cast on 43 sts. work in pattern to underarm the same as back. Bind off 8 sts. at armhole side, at the same time decrease 1 st. at neck edge every 4th row 14 times, work until armhole measures the same as back. Bind off 7 sts. from shoulder edge every other row 3 times.

LEFT FRONT:

Work the same as right front, reversing shaping.

FINISHING:

Sew shoulders and sides. Starting at lower edge of right front, fold under 1 inch to top and sew with a slip st. work other side the same. Work 1 row of single crochet on neck sts. Work 2 rows of single crochet around armholes.

Crochet chain 24 inches long for tie.

Block with a damp cloth.
