MATERIALS:
Chadwick's Red Heart Sock and Sweater Yarn, 3 Ply, Art. E.255, Shrink and Stretch Resist, 6 skeins (1 oz. pull-out skeins) of Skipper Blue for Sizes 8 and 10; 7 skeins for Size 12; 1 skein each of Scarlet and Black for all sizes.
Milwards “Phantom” Aluminum Knitting Pins or Clark's O.N.T. Plastic Knitting Pins, 1 pair No. 2 (2¾ mm. size), 1 pair No. 3 (3 mm. size) and 1 pair No. 4 (3½ mm. size).
Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 2.

GAUGE:
Pattern st, No. 4 knitting pins—7 sts make 1 inch; 8 rows make 1 inch.
Stockinette st, No. 3 knitting pins—7 sts make 1 inch; 9 rows make 1 inch.
